    1. A single blood cell in your body travels a long way during a lifetime – a distance of more than 2 1/2 times around the earth.
    2. The total surface area of your lungs is approximately 70 square meters – roughly the same size as a singles badminton court.
    3. Just in the course of reading this sentence your body will have made several meters of new DNA.
