When we’re working on our fitness we naturally focus mainly on diet and exercise, but there’s another very important ingredient that many women neglect, and that’s motivation. Motivation creates your state of mind, your state of mind determines your choices, and your choices produce your outcomes. As part of your fitness lifestyle, you should set aside time each and every day for self-motivation. If you do this regularly you can’t possibly fail to reach your goals.
I have a collection of videos and pictures on my computer that I look through every morning before I go to the gym to motivate myself. When I’m done I can’t wait to go and work out. If the first thing you do each morning is take the time to motivate yourself for the day ahead, before you even think about going to the gym, you’ll be so pumped that the little voice inside your head that normally tells you you’re tired, it’s too cold, you’ve got a headache, you don’t have time, you need the day off, etc. will be nowhere to be seen!
